Jul. 31, 2022On Wednesday, the trenches were being dug for the foundation…
…and on Thursday, they started pouring concrete!
What you can see here is the start of the basement/garage. In the first photo below, where you see the wooden stake with the red top, that will be the car entrance.
To the left of that, you can see two stakes, each with a green top. Between
those stakes will be a u-shaped staircase leading to the main floor. The
room to the left of that will be the technical room/laundry room aka, the
room with things like the water heater and other house operations. Behind
that is a slightly smaller room which we will use as storage.
