Week 5: The best part of having an e-bike

I am digressing slightly from the normal theme (the house) to share some recent photos. I got an e-bike after returning from US in June and since then have ridden 465km. Today I rode for about 60km and just wanted to share a few things I came across on my ride today.

Czech republic is covered with a massive network of hiking and biking trails. There is nothing that even remotely compares to it in the US. See this image below? Every line that you see that is red, blue, green or pink is a biking or hiking path. While some of the bike paths follow roads, there are so many that wind their way through fields or forests providing the most amazing views. I never know when I ride what I will find around the next bend.

After exiting a field, I found this guy. While most of his friends were perfectly content to eat the grass IN the field, this guy was not. I watched him for 5 minutes while he repeatedly stuck his head through the fence to get the grass on my side of the fence, then when he had gotten all that he could, he pulled his head out and moved onto the next. I may have helped.

I found this super cool bridge while riding through the forest. It is believed to have been built at the end of the 18th century.
